Antonio Marras SS 2020: the backstage beauty between eyeliner and oriental mood

Two islands, Japan and Sardinia, which meet. A love that is born and that finds a passionate synthesis in inlays and in combinations of colors (pink, red, beige) different from the usual: it is the new chapter in the storybook of Antonio Marras, made up of narratives that displace, conquer and remain in the memory.

In this romantic tale the protagonists are a Japanese princess, Shiro, with shiny skin and an adventurous attitude, and a Sardinian shepherd, Baingio. Theirs is a difficult love but, as in all fairy tales, it then leads to a happy ending.

The elegance of a princess who wants to visit the world, refusing to stay forever in her homeland, is enhanced by the choice of original colors and textures even in the make-up. «I preferred a delicate pink, a gentle pink because the protagonist is a princess, to color the eyelids up to the temples. It was, however, important to work on the mix of tones and textures - continues Pecheux - so I chose a eyeliner between blue and green for the upper rhyme and a red line in the lower one: it is the red that represents Japan and, more generally, all Asian culture. The models' skin is natural and luminous, while the lips are brushed with a baby pink shade, similar to that used for the eyes ».
