We had the opportunity to have a chat with her and to let her tell us more about the creation of this impressive beauty look.
What is your take on smokey eyes of the moment?
I really enjoyed making the blue smokey eyes for the Spring / Summer show. I especially liked creating it for its versatility. Blue in all its shades - from the most nocturnal to the most pop - can be used by all women. I've seen it worn by Katy Perry at the MET Ball for example. Electric blue gives a touch of bold elegance. I love the idea of a sophisticated but at the same time "rebellious" make-up.
The extra advice?
The extra touch of color does not necessarily have to be blue but also green, or orange or a color that those who choose to reproduce this look on themselves, thinks it is suitable. We start from a dark base that can be black or midnight blue or chocolate color and on top we can wear a contrasting shade or similar but more decisive or simply, coordinated.
How does a catwalk beauty look translate into an everyday wearable look?
The catwalks inspire and can give suggestions, each woman then with her own creativity can decide how to "tell" a beauty look by personalizing it as she sees fit.
What colors and textures will we wear in Autumn?
The face bases will be opaque but with very bright finishes, especially in lipsticks and fuchsia will be a very present color.
