What does co-washing mean? We tell you a word from the beauty dictionary that promises you fairytale hair without shampoo
What is co-washing
The no-poo trend (i.e. no shampoo) is getting stronger and stronger. Using rather aggressive cleansers more than necessary damages hair and scalp in the long run. The hair becomes porous, gets dirty faster and the scalp is sensitized.
Beauty addicts will have already heard of the co-washing, literally conditioner washing. This is the technique of washing the hair without shampoo, let's see in detail what it is.
How does it work
Co-washing involves washing your hair using only the balm, better if natural or otherwise without silicones, given that it is a green vision of beauty. Hair conditioners already contain cleansing active ingredients, much more delicate than those of shampoo.
To a generous amount of conditioner you need to add a tablespoon of sugar, it will be used to better clean the hair. Massage into damp hair and rinse thoroughly.
What are the benefits of co-washing?
Softer hair, without frizz and more docile. It is particularly suitable for i dry hair and very dry, processed and curly.
