The beauty backstage of the Damir Doma Spring / Summer 2018 fashion show, between individuality and urban spirit
Damir Doma presents his latest Men's and Women's Collection for Spring / Summer 2018 in a location full of urban charm, raw and vaguely decadent, the perfect setting for a slight change of direction of the brand which, without completely abandoning its minimal identity, looks to a more urban style and athleisure (also thanks to the collaboration with the historic Lotto brand).The whole is permeated by strong individuality and a romanticism rich in artistic sensibility.
The line up of templates includes many friends of the designer, from different worlds: fashion journalists, musicians (the show is closed by the new Italian rap talent Ghali), artists, designers, make-up artists and more. Models and models come from a wide variety of countries and were also chosen for their personality. The type of casting underlines the desire to enhance individuality, an approach that is also reflected in the choices for make-up and hair styling as they told us. Backstage we met Michele Magnani of Mac Cosmetics who signed the make-up for the show and explained to us how the most underground minimal style of the past seasons has moved towards a "real healthy" beauty concept, absolutely not artificial.
The complexion is totally natural, made with an almost transparent bottom, warmed on the cheeks with a cream blush.
For women, focus on the eyes. Mascara was applied to both the upper and lower lash lines, with a more intense concentration in correspondence with the pupil axis and slightly soiled on the lower part, to give more veracity to the final effect. On the eyelids a mix of two matte lipsticks, gray and peach, to give a dusty effect, illuminated by a touch of gloss in the central part.
The lips are bare.

The Hair Look of the show told by Maria Kovacs @Tigi
The hair look focuses on the idea of giving an individual look, enhancing the natural texture and bringing out the individual personalities: this translates into as many looks as there are models and characters on the catwalk. The inspiration comes in part from the new Millennial culture, which encourages the individual to emerge into their own unique personality and also translate it into the way they appear.
The products used to work the individual textures cover different lines of the brand, which offers a great variety, specific for all types of hair and styling: not only the Catwalk collection but also BedHead and others.
THE hair is quite close to the head and has a slightly worn look, as in a contemporary reinterpretation of grunge that results in a hair styling that appears "self-made".
