Zara Home has invited the British contemporary artist Simon Costin to curate a creative collaboration dedicated to the Spring / Summer 2017 collection. Entitled "The Great Illusion", the project uses the Milan single-brand store as a platform where a surreal concept translates into oversized displays and mannequins and playful scenographies. On the occasion of FuoriSalone 2017, INTERNI magazine presents the INTERNI Material Immaterial Exhibition-Event. The chosen theme invites you to explore the double soul of the project: on the one hand the universe that constitutes the physical and concrete essence of the project; on the other hand, the immaterial dimension of creation, starting from the designer's thinking, increasingly assisted by digital technologies and conditioned by virtual reality. COS presents New Spring, the installation conceived by Studio Swine, born from the encounter between the Japanese architect Azusa Murakami and the English artist Alexander Groves. The duo, which will give life to an engaging multisensory experience, chose the name New Spring to reflect the feelings of optimism and rebirth related to the advent of the spring season. Design pride seletti
After last year's success, DESIGN PRIDE is back, the street parade dedicated to design promoted by the design brand Seletti, the non-profit association Wunderkammer and YOOX, the world's leading online lifestyle store for fashion, design and art. The project is developed in collaboration with Gufram, the brand that has brought radical design to the world, Havaianas, the most iconic Brazilian brand, Radio Deejay, and Wallpaper *, the leading editorial reality for the world of design and lifestyle. The colorful parade of floats, banners, music and performances will enliven the streets of the city. Ventura Lambrate

The now traditional location of Ventura Lambrate (we are already at the eighth edition of Fuorisalone) is renewed by returning to the IKEA headquarters for the design week and expanding to the Central Station area with "Ventura Centrale 2017".

From April 4th to 9th IKEA will transform a space in the heart of the young and lively Lambrate district into a crackling and energetic festival. The IKEA Festival "Let's make room for life" will focus on the heart of everyday life: the living room. Through workshops, installations, interviews, music, prototype creations and live events, the festival will share IKEA's curiosity about how to adapt the home to the way you want to live. It will also allow you to take a look behind the scenes of the IKEA assortment. The festival will see the participation of Danish designers from HAY, British designer Tom Dixon and Home Smart, the future of the connected home. Ventura Centrale
In the room that housed the historic first-class restaurant of the Central Station Ventura Projects, Grandi Stazioni Retail and the Municipality of Milan present the latest addition to the fuorisalone system of exhibition spaces. For the occasion, two installations designed by Luca Nichetto and Ben Gorham are "staged", celebrating the artisan tradition and the contemporary possibilities of glass in a play of light and shadow in the old warehouses of the Milanese station. In its second edition, the event will host the new generation of design, bringing 30 new designers to the stage in the photographic studio Gianni Rizzotti, a 400 square meter loft in Via Pastengo. This together with a 6-axis robot that will produce 3D printed objects throughout the week and the Suspended Garden installation, with lamps designed by the German company Schneid. Audi returns to Design Week for the fifth year and presents its laboratory of ideas in Corso Venezia 11, a sixteenth-century frame built by Carlo Borromeo and open to the public for the first time. whose state of the art in terms of technical application is represented by the new generation of the A5 range which will be exhibited in the cloister of Corso Venezia 11 together with the new Audi RS 5 Coupé. sound installation by sound designer Yuri Suzuki. Inside the Audi City Lab there is also the unpublished creative project created by Alcantara in collaboration with the designers Ross Lovegrove, Ilaria Colombo and Arturo Tedeschi. The “Alcantara Corner Lounges” will welcome visitors by offering a mix of design and technology thanks to a unique reinterpretation of Moroso chairs. A spectacular light installation is also back. The baroque portal at the entrance to the Audi City Lab from Corso Venezia will in fact be interpreted by the light designer Ingo Maurer, who, after having "illuminated" Torre Velasca in red at the last Audi City Lab, returns to arouse emotions, highlighting with unexpected contrasts access to the Audi ideas laboratory.
Louis Vuitton
After the success of the past years Louis Vuitton enriches the Object Nomades collection with 10 new objects. Conceived in 2011, the collection keeps alive Louis Vuitton's long tradition of creating wonderful travel items.Some of the world's most celebrated designers - Atelier Oï, Maarten Baas, Barber and Osgerby, Fratelli Campana, Damien Langlois-Meurinne, Nendo, Gwenaël Nicolas, Raw Edges, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders - have imagined surprising objects inspired by travel, which were then made by Louis Vuitton. Paula Cademartori
On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Paula Cademartori personalizes the iconic Kartell Madame armchair by Philippe Starck with the multicolor "Magic" print: a multicolor pattern that mixes designs of nouveau petals, exotic birds and hands jeweled with hearts, stars and scalloped bows. The new Pop-Up store by Paula Cademartori, designed by the well-known architect Ferruccio Laviani and inaugurated in Milan on February 20th, acts as a backdrop to the special edition.
