Linda Tol: trendsetter with an androgynous and feminine style

We met Linda Tol in New York with Desigual. Here's what we found out about her and her favorite pieces from the new collection

During the New York Fashion Week we got to know better Linda Tol, influencer born and raised in Amsterdam, now based in Milan. Linda told us about her passion for fashion and beauty, posing for us in a special editorial shot at11Howard Hotel with the new collection SS 2017 from Desigual.

The pieces Desigual chosen by Linda reflect hers personality: a biker jacket with a boyish silhouette in pink - one of her favorite shades - the black skirt embroidered with an ivory motif but also fluid dresses with prints and crochet pieces. A mix & match that reflects the Spanish brand and the radiance of the influencer.

Find out what he told us between a photo and a hot cup of coffee.

An afternoon in New York with Linda

Where do you usually shop?

From Salon Hellen Hulsmann, a vintage boutique when I'm in Amsterdam, otherwise

Do you have an icon to inspire you?

Yes, I currently have more than one. I really like the style of Leandra Medine, Evangelie Smyrniotaki, Pernille Teisbaek, Véronique Tristram, Gilda Ambrosio and Jan Michael Quammie. What I appreciate most about these girls is the fact that they always wear the latest trends of the season but manage to personalize them, each in its own way. Personality is key.

Do you follow a particular beauty routine?

I follow a very simple routine, I think skincare is very important. I start my day with a moisturizer and an eye contour. I don't use a lot of make-up: concealer, foundation, mascara and lipstick. I think perfume is also part of the routine, I never leave home without it. Last step in the evening before bed: I wash my face and use an oil infusion. During the week I try to find time to make masks.

«My style is androgynous, with a feminine twist. "

What are your favorite magazines, both online and in print?

Self Service, Another Magazine, Lula and The Gentle woman.

What is your favorite social network and why?

Definitely Instagram. I am addicted to stories (probably because they are more true). I use Instagram for work, for research and also to communicate. The strength of this social network lies in the contacts you can create with people.

What are the pieces that you would suggest to our readers to buy or wear during the summer?

Slingbacks, (super comfortable) go with everything. Blazer with prominent shoulders, perhaps combined with mini skirts (like the one I wear by Desigual, simple and at the same time refined), an oversized trench coat, a white shirt-dress and in general the pink and red combination.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my friends, working out in the gym and walking around the city enjoying a cup of coffee.

Do you have any projects or dreams for the future that you would like to share?

I am working on several projects, so stay tuned!
