Silver shades, glitter details and cult garments revisited: the catwalk dedicated toAutumn-Winter 2017/18 from Chanel fly high, direct into space.
The Grand Palais turns into an aerospace base, the models are astronauts ready to set sail for a new adventure. Black, ivory, silver and touches of green and metallic pink make up the color palette.
The tweed remains at the forefront accompanied by some themed prints such as astronauts, the moon and planets.

For Karl Lagerfeld and his team the imposing beauty of the Grand Palais is never enough.
For this new show, a clearly branded rocket awaits the public Chanel, positioned in the center of the room.
Classic garments are reborn
A Maison like Chanel it also has the task of passing on the tradition that made it famous in almost a century of work. One of the cornerstones of all the collections is indeed the Tailleur, revised each time in a different way.
The iconic silhouette of the suit breaks down: the jacket becomes a vest, the skirt remains short but is combined with Bermuda shorts that reflect the weft of the sleeves.
It is a game of joints, which lights up thanks to the glitter accessories, including boots and tights.
And even the vintage becomes futuristic
Thermal blankets meet elegant hoods: the result is short and padded capes, in the metallic shades of pink and silver.
They cover the shoulders, taking the style straight to another planet.
On the catwalk there is room for everyone (or almost)
There is no doubt among the fundamental details of a fashion show the casting. In the specific case of Chanel you never run the risk of being disappointed.
On the one hand the most requested models of the moment, the new recruits of the season, on the other hand the veteran colleagues like Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid.
But that's not all: it comes to illuminate the room with its total black Mariacarla Boscono, while in the middle of the show the little one enters Hudson Kroening, the brand's small mascot.

Once the lap is over, the models make their final exit and, after a long applause, the noises of the engines are heard.
Everyone turns to the spacecraft: take-off has begun, smoke and sparks take center stage while "Rocket Man "'s Elton John plays in the background.
