Kiesza makeup: brown lips and eyeliner for the eclectic singer

She loves playing with make-up and has just launched her own capsule collection. The interview with the singer-songwriter Kiesza

An adjective to define Kiesza? Eclectic or rather "funky" as she herself admits to being.

Grit is her hallmark and, after transmitting energy to an infinite number of discos around the world, the Canadian singer-songwriter launches a new make up project in collaboration with MAC Cosmetics, a capsule collection in vampy colors.

In Italy we met her thanks to her first single, Hideaway, a few years ago - five gold and three platinum records - while in 2015 she collaborated with Duran Duran. The new year, however, brought her a new single, Dearly Beloved - half a million views within days of its launch on Youtube.

We at Grazia.it met her - after having known her on all social networks - in particular on Instagram, where Kiesza enjoys publishing shots in which she shows off beauty look different every time.

How did your collaboration with Mac Cosmetics start?We met and I talked about my favorite colors and my passion for make up. I like to wear brown (it is the main color of the collection, ed) even if I love to experiment with all possible shades.

What color do you prefer for the lips? I always try to find shades that match my skin and I love trying unusual shades. For example, a while ago I wore a petrol green lipstick. It's definitely not a color I could always wear, but I like to be "funky" and look eclectic.

Can you tell us about your beauty routine? I have very sensitive skin and this is why I never give up a face cream. Must have a product with sun protection factor to avoid sunburn and which is also excellent as a base for make-up.
