Classic, beloved are the best sellers and wink at their "espadrille" cousins. With only the sole (like those of Miu Miu And Castaner) or even with matching price lists (Stuart Weitzman And Belle By Sigerson Morrison) go with practically everything: from strolls along the waterfront to shopping in the city.

CORK A little boho, a little hippy but certainly very stylish. They recall the fabulous Seventies and are super light. To be chosen with a very colorful upper (like the open toe emerald green ones of Gianvito Rossi or the purple ones with crossed lists by Jimmy Choo) or in classic shades of leather (Christian Louboutin) and black (with buckles like those of Pedro Garcia and "exaggerated" like those of Zara).

WOOD Alter and very high, the wooden wedges are among the most loved by designers this summer, who play between the two-tone combination of two shades, often contrasting (like those signed Jil Sander And Gianvito Rossi) or in the softer tones of face powder and neutral (Aldo And Ash).

MULTICOLOR What's better than a pair of colorful wedges to tackle the heat of the city at a brisk pace? We like the rainbow ones Paloma Barcelò, those in shades of fuchsia and orange (the top combination of the season) by Cesare Paciotti and those with contrasting strips and colored pinstripes by Schultz.

ALL DAY LONG Strong, decisive are the perfect wedges for every occasion, from the office to happy hour, like those in patent leather by Marni with lisitni and t-bars and those "super hight" of Elizabeth & James with high band on the ankle.

COLOR BLOCKING As in clothing, the color block is also popular among accessories. So why not choose it also for the wedges, like the two-tone ones by Chloé And Sergio Rossi and those of Furla e Bagatt.
