The first AW Lab flagship store opens in Milan preceded by a week of street style hunting with exclusive DJ sets
On Saturday 26 May the first AW Lab flagship store opened in Corso Buenos Aires 31 in Milan.
The inauguration was preceded by a week of "street style hunting" around Milan: a team of stylists and photographers scoured the city aboard a customized VAN, visiting the main meeting places. Inside the space of 200 square meters, the selection of sneakers, technology and specific clothing from the world was presented Athletes World, an Italian sports-style retailer born in 1997, with music as the perfect setting for a splendid evening.
From 4 to 8.30 pm the DJ sets of Fritz Da Cat, beatmaker belonging to the Italian rap scene, alternated with Pigro on Sofa, DJ and producer from Bergamo, currently host of Babylon, a musical Radio Show broadcast on Radio2. Key guest at the end of the event and for the first time in Italy, Dominique Young Unique, nineteen year old rapper originally from Tampa, Florida, pupil and model of Kenye West, defined by Dazed & Confused as "the queen of electro-rap".
